NSA dismisses fake notice on National Service postings

The National Service Authority (NSA) has warned the public against a fake publication circulating on social media, falsely claiming that the “second batch of National Service postings” would be released on Wednesday, November 5.
In a statement, the Authority clarified that the purported notice – complete with its logo and designed to resemble an official update – did not originate from the NSA and should be disregarded.
“The said publication is false and did not emanate from the Authority,” the statement said. “We urge the general public, especially prospective National Service personnel and tertiary institutions, to ignore the contents of this fake notice and treat it with the contempt it deserves.”
The NSA reminded the public that all official announcements are made only through verified channels, including its official website (www.gnsa.gov.gh), social media handles, and authorised press releases.
Reaffirming its commitment to transparency and accurate communication, the Authority assured stakeholders that it would continue to provide timely and reliable updates on national service matters.
“We appreciate your vigilance and cooperation,” the statement concluded.
