Members of Commandery No. 747 and Ladies Auxiliary No. 631 of the Knights of St. John International (KSJI) at the Ss. Peter and Paul Church at New Aplaku in Accra, recently donated a polytank to the Kasoa Government Hospital in response to a request by the Hospital for storage purposes.

Ms. Helen Mahama, a Principal Nursing Officer, who received the donation on behalf of the Management of the Hospital, noted that the poor water situation in the Hospital affected sanitation and posed a serious threat to the health of both patients and staff.

She expressed gratitude to members of the Order and called for more support from individuals and societies for the Hospital to render quality service to its clients.

The Worthy President of the Commandery, Noble Bro. Augustine Kessie, assisted by Respected President, Sis. Cynthia Nkansah and the Past President, Sis. Gloria Dwummah-Adu, presented the polytank to the Hospital.

Bro. Kessie noted that the donation was in line with the Order’s key value of charity and Advent Charity pledge, hoping that it would help improve water sanitation at the Hospital.
