44 youth train in SELL Programme

Forty-four youth of the Tamale Archdiocese recently participated in the second phase of the Sharing Education and Learning for Life (SELL) Programme, held at the Catholic Youth Centre.
The three-day programme, attended by youth Chaplains from the various Parishes in the Archdiocese focused on Leadership.
It was facilitated by a Resource Team from Logre, Tongo Parish in the Navrongo-Bolgatanga Diocese.
Earlier, the group received training on Self-Awareness after which they returned to their home communities as teams to share the knowledge they had received with members of the community. A total of 252 were reached.
Participants evaluated and shared their experiences, successes and challenges with their colleagues and outlined strategies to improve themselves and overcome the challenges they encountered.
They agreed to work hard to achieve the basic target of the programme to provide communities at all levels with young and vibrant leaders who would be able to marshal their own skills, talents and leadership abilities to energize an ever-widening circle of their peers.
