Archbishop Kwofie Announces Key Priestly Appointments for 2026

The Archdiocese of Accra, Ghana, under the leadership of Archbishop John Bonaventure Kwofie, has announced significant priestly appointments as part of broader efforts to strengthen pastoral leadership across the archdiocese.

The appointments, which carry a five-year term, include the naming of Rev Fr. John Patrick Tindana as Chancellor and Archivist, and Rev. Fr. David Amissah Andoh as Chaplain for Battor Catholic Hospital. These roles form part of regular administrative transitions that typically begin at the start of the new year, aimed at enhancing governance and ministry throughout the archdiocese.

The Department of Social Communications (DEPSCOM), serving as the media arm for the archdiocese, regularly disseminates news about such appointments alongside coverage of major events including ordinations and pastoral activities. The department recently shared updates about the 2026 Diaconate Ordination, a significant milestone for those preparing for the priesthood.

These appointments reflect Archbishop Kwofie’s ongoing commitment to ensuring robust administrative structures and effective pastoral care across the Archdiocese of Accra.
