Archbishop Naameh Confirms 28 at Sacred Heart Parish, Tamale

Most Rev. Philip Naameh, Metropolitan Archbishop of Tamale, administered the Sacrament of Confirmation to 28 young parishioners of the Sacred Heart Parish, Tamale, during a Eucharistic Celebration held as part of the parish’s 25th anniversary activities.
In a homily, Rev. Fr. Anthony Santah, a Curate of the Parish, reminded the confirmands that their Baptism was their first Pentecost. He explained that the Sacrament of Confirmation seals the gift of the Holy Spirit received at Baptism, signifying spiritual maturity and readiness to serve in the Church.
“Those who receive Confirmation must become adults, take up roles, and actively participate in the Church,” he emphasised.
The Mass was concelebrated by the Parish Priest, Very Rev. Fr. Peter Anglaaere.
