The Parishioners of the Mother of God Parish, Poano, in the Obuasi Diocese, recently donated assorted items to the Save Our Lives Orphanage, near Anwiankwanta in the Amansie West District of the Ashanti Region.
The items included assorted drinks, Buiscuits, toiletries, detergents, fruits, cooking oil, six bags of rice, provisions and other foodstuffs.
The donation which formed part of the Parish’s charitable activities was presented by Rev. Fr. Francis Boshen, the Parish Priest.
Mr. Alexander Obeng Takyi received the items on behalf of the Proprietress, Madam Paulina Opel.
He thanked the Parishioners and entreated other groups within the Municipality to support the Orphanage.
