CMA inaugurated at CTK
A branch of the Catholic Men Association (CMA), has been inaugurated at the Christ the King (CTK) Parish in Accra by Rev. Fr. Joseph Ocran, Assistant Priest.
It has Mr. Sam K. Kwofie as the President; Mr. Ebo Cole, Financial Secretary and Mr. Michael Owusu, Organizing Secretary.
Present at the outdooring was Very Rev. Fr. Andrew Campbell, SVD, Parish Priest, who entreated members to organize programmes to enhance their spiritual lives.
He urged them to make charity works one of their priorities by visiting and donating to needy Institutions.
Mr. Kwofie said, the aims and objectives of the Association were to help members identify their potentials as Catholics, develop greater awareness of dignity and responsibility of members as Christian men, husbands and fathers.
He said it was also to support Church activities, appealing to women to encourage their husbands to join the Association to give service to God and mankind
Mr. Kwofie, who was the Father of the Year for 2015, and upon whose initiative the Association was formed, encouraged the formation of the Association in all Parishes in the Accra Archdiocese.
The Patron Saint of the Association is St. Joseph, husband of Blessed Virgin Mary.
Among the founding members are Captain Joseph A. Boachie, Mr. Joe Dadson, Sir Raphael Nwosu, Mr. Felix Owusu-Adjapong and Major- General Yaache.
Others are Mr. Kwame Adu Sarkodie, Mr Sebastian Ukpokoloh, Mr. Anthony Ebow Essien, Mr. Alex Ababio, Mr. Bernard Atta Sonno and Major Mark Ankobiah.
